Post Baby Bump Update!
So it has been 15 weeks since I gave birth to Addison.  Last week when I was in NC I decided to jump on my parent’s scale.  Much to my surprise that scale said 117 lbs.  Oh my goodness, this was the exact weight I was before I became pregnant with Addison.  It’s nice to know that keeping active and working out during and post pregnancy has paid off.  I am so glad that the ridiculous amount of french fries and milkshakes I had during my pregnancy had no effect on me getting back to where I was before I became pregnant.  This is such great motivation to keep up the my workouts, whether it’s at the gym, walking in the mornings or popping in a video at home.

Workout Update

So, I have been going to the gym for about 2 weeks now.  Ryan and I alternate morning workouts, while the other person stays at home with Addison.  Let me tell you this is the best thing we could have done for ourselves.  Starting out the morning with the workout has helped so much with our energy level and self esteem.  It’s also nice to have an hour of “Me Time” as well.  I am able to completely zone out and focus on myself.  I think it is important to find the time to do this.  I really think this helps keep me happy, positive and energized throughout the day.  Although I am not quite back to my prepregnancy body I am already starting to see improvement on my figure.  This definitely gives the motivation to keep up with my workout, especially on those days that I would rather stay in bed for an extra hour.
