Addison loves the beach!
Gosh, I really do love living at the beach. I promised myself that I would take full advantage of where we live and be sure that Addison developed the same love for the beach. We spent a wonderful Saturday afternoon at the beach. ACE really enjoyed crawling through the sand as it sprayed up behind him. He love picking up clumps of sand and tossing it around. The ocean was a a little chilly that day, but we did dip our feet in. I can’t wait till this summer when we can swim and frolic in the ocean. ACE played his little heart out until he finally passed out in his Sundome. We are looking forward to our next adventure.

(9 months old)

Saturday we took Addison to the beach for the 1st time. He is just one day shy of eight weeks. Heading to the beach took some preparation. Bye, bye to the days of a cooler of beer and our beach towels. We made sure Addison was fed and had a few diaper changes before leaving the house. Then, we got the little guy suited up in his SPF swimgear and hat, loaded the car with the beach umbrella, the sundome, towels, cooler of water and formula, and sunscreen. Finally we were off to the beach.

We were so excited when we got the beach because we scored an up front parking spot. Thank goodness since we were dragging all of our baby beach gear. Once we were settled we headed straight for the water. Addison once again was a natural in the water, never once did he cry. We head back up to the sand for some relaxation. Addison chilled out in his sundome, wiggling around playing with his rings. He recently discovered how grip on to things and put them in his mouth. This keeps him quite entertained.

Every fifteen minutes or so we would head back down to the water with Addison. We wanted to be sure he stayed nice and cool during his trip to the beach. After a few dips in the water the little guy was tuckered out and took a little nap in his sundome. We spent two fun filled and relaxing hours at the beach. We were so pleased with Addison’s first trip to the beach and we can’t wait to do it again.
